In February, the ALARM Uganda staff attended the graduation of 44 officers who completed their time at the Uganda Police Senior Command and Staff College. ALARM has an ongoing relationship with the Uganda Police and was given the opportunity to conduct training sessions for the Senior Police officers at the college last November – December. This training covered topics in Servant Leadership and Trauma Healing and equipped the officers to grasp the importance of effective leadership that focuses on peacebuilding, reconciliation, and justice. It was after this training that ALARM was granted an award by the college for their impact on the community. We are so grateful for this ongoing relationship and we believe that as we partner with the Police officers of Uganda, transformation in communities will take place.
