South Sudan: The Pastoral Leadership Training Institute Sessions 4 & 5 – Lietnhom

South Sudan: The Pastoral Leadership Training Institute Sessions 4 & 5 – Lietnhom

The Pastoral Leadership and Training Institute program in Lietnhom successfully implemented 2 more sets of 2-week trainings that were held in February and April. These PLTI students participated in daily devotions, lectures, group discussions, group presentations, assignments, and examinations. As these students wrapped up their sessions, they left empowered to lead their communities in peaceful coexistence and provide platforms for community-based development. After one of the sessions, Isaac, a PLTI student, said – “I’m very appreciative of the course and willing to become an agent of change in South Sudan when I get back to my community. During the training, I was able to understand why there is an urgent need to witness and take the gospel to the Muslim communities”. We are so proud of these students and we are excited to see what God does through the remainder of their PLTI sessions.
