Rwanda: The Institute of Women for Excellence (IWE) Girl’s Secondary School Update

Rwanda: The Institute of Women for Excellence (IWE) Girl’s Secondary School Update

Currently, 88 students are enrolled at IWE and are doing well in their studies! We are grateful for partners like Rise Up Woman International, who have come alongside this school to empower girls in their education. On February 1st, the IWE fence was destroyed due to flooding but because of your generosity, the fence is being repaired! As IWE continues to seek support from the government, several critical updates first need to happen such as installing new toilets, purchasing computers and books for students and teachers, rehabilitating the kitchen, and installing a new electricity system. We thank God that our IWE faculty and students are doing well and we pray for funding to enhance the school.
