Rwanda: Burera Farming and Educational Project Follow-Up

Rwanda: Burera Farming and Educational Project Follow-Up

In 2020, ALARM implemented the Burera Farming and Educational Project and 20 women who were beneficiaries of this project received training and piglets. After the implementation of this project, ALARM followed up with these beneficiaries to check on the wellbeing of the piglets and the women. The piglets are all healthy and growing fast (besides for 2 of the women’s piglets that died from bad neighbors). The women were also taught how to make compost for farming using the piglets’ manure. This project has harvested 4 tons of Maize that will be sold for profit. We are so grateful that the women have benefited from this project and we are hopeful that it will continue to be a source of provision and hope for the beneficiaries.
