As a response to the ongoing pandemic, ALARM Kenya undertook a COVID-19 Recovery Project which ran from November 2020 and will end in April 2021. 60 women involved in small-scale businesses benefited from this project; 45 of them received a business capital injection boost which allowed them to revive their businesses to a sustainable level. The rest received training on how to make detergent, bleaches, and fabric softeners. These trainings allow the women to have the practical knowledge on how to start income-generating activities.
