Kenya: Breaking the Barriers of Vulnerable Single Women Training

Kenya: Breaking the Barriers of Vulnerable Single Women Training

ALARM Kenya is working with 20 women in the Kibera slums through the Breaking the Barriers of Vulnerable Single Women (BBVSM) project to foster sustainable livelihood. Since November 2020, the women have been trained in basic business and life skills, customer care, business plans, marketing plans, how to identify income-generating activities, table banking, group management, and conflict resolution. As these women are trained, they are becoming equipped as entrepreneurs and will soon be empowered to start their own income-generating activities.
