DR Congo: ALARM’s Response to the Fire in Bukavu

In January, a fire broke out in Bukavu that resulted in the loss of 100 houses, 2 local churches, and the community’s medical center. After hearing of this tragedy, Rev. Theo visited the scene and gave aid to one of the ALARM lawyers who is a victim of the fire. In addition to the aid given, Rev. Theo was also able to evaluate and determine the urgent needs of the victims. Partners and friends of ALARM moved in their compassion and gave enough funds to provide 132 individuals in 15 different households with food, pans, oil, and clothes for the women.
