Burundi: Community-Based Orphan Support Program Check-In

Burundi: Community-Based Orphan Support Program Check-In

The Community Based Orphan Support Program (CBOSP) was able to distribute school materials and uniforms to the orphaned children that are supported in this project. There are currently 7 children in primary school and 29 in secondary school that are from the CBOSP and earlier this year 2 children graduated from high school! We are so proud of this family of orphaned children and are thankful for the continuous support that allows these children to feel loved, cared for, accepted and supported by the community. After the distribution of school supplies, the ALARM staff took the time to sit with these children and encourage them as they began their school year. The staff encouraged them to study diligently and not focus on what others have. They also were encouraged to respect and be helpful with their guardians.
