Kenya: Breaking Barriers for Young Single Mothers (BBYSM) COVID-19 Update

During the COVID-19 lockdown, the ALARM Kenya staff was able to provide food for 74 of the vulnerable beneficiaries who are part of the Breaking Barriers for Young Single Mothers (BBYSM) group in the Kibera slum. COVID-19 has had an enormous impact on the individuals living within the slums because most of the residents are involved in small businesses that were disrupted by the lockdown.
