Uganda: The Community-Based Orphan Support Program Check-In

Uganda: The Community-Based Orphan Support Program Check-In

Through the Community-Based Orphan Support Program, 101 children were given bags of food during the COVID-19 lockdown! Because of the continuing support that ALARM Uganda is showing these children, they are left feeling encouraged that God will continue to provide for their needs. Many of these child-headed homes and children in need were unsuccessful in accessing food prior to the bags being given to them so after receiving the food, they were very thankful. Right now there is a gap in mentorship for these children since many of the mentors aren’t receiving the financial support to mentor them and they are trying to take care of themselves as well during these times. Pictured are some of the children who received food during the distribution.
