We are so excited to share that the previous class of IWE (Institute of Women for Excellence) students succeeded in their last national examinations! They succeeded at a 100% rate which is very rare! At the end of the Junior Secondary School or Ordinary level (3 years), all students must take the National Examination to determine their academic abilities for the next three years of Senior Secondary School (Advanced level). During these last three years, students are prepared for their future academic pursuit and careers. We are grateful to our friends and partners who are giving hope to these young women who oftentimes come from poor families who previously had no hope of an education for their children.
98 IWE students started their 2021-2022 academic year and are staying healthy and doing well! The National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA) visited IWE and gave recommendations of improvement which will aid IWE in the process of becoming subsidized by the government.
