Leaders Being Transformed in Kenya - Update from Celestin

Posted on October 06, 2011

Pictured above are pastors and lay leaders in Eldoret, Kenya participating in a group discussion about the role of the church in national healing and tribal reconciliation.  This region experienced some of the worst post-election violence in 2008.  We planned for 50 leaders to attend but more than 80 arrived for the conference.  We have run out of training materials and don't have enough food for everyone, but we are sharing the little we have. God is transforming these leaders, who were once tribal enemies, into men and women of peace, forgiveness, and reconciliation.  Thank you for your prayers.
